The Port Alegre International Club of Brazil unveiled Sport Club Internacional Kit 19/20. Inspired by the team’s unprecedented unbeaten record 40 years ago when they won the third Brazilian League Championship trophy, the New Jersey evokes fans’fond memories of the great players who created brilliance.
In 1979, the international team won the Brazilian League Championship for the third time with an amazing unbeaten record, which made the international team the only team in Brazilian football history to win the championship with an unbeaten record. Today, the team that has been called the “Colorado” is still enjoyed by fans.
The New Jersey is inspired by the jersey worn when the international team won the championship in 1979, and recreates the magical past. The international team’s brand-new home jersey is still in front of the world with the classic red image of the club. The white details on the V-collar and cuff faithfully reproduce the logo design of the classic jersey.
The badge commemorating the 1979 championship team was placed on the chest of the shirt. The abbreviation “SCI” in the badge appeared in a more retro image. The three golden pentagons on the badge represented the three Brazilian champions won by the team respectively. The laurel wreath accompanied by the champions reflected the team’s legend of winning the championship with unbeaten results.
Home jersey with white jersey and socks, the champion team badge on the Jersey and the red ring on the socks constitute a complete image with the jersey. New away jerseys are also on display at the same time as home jerseys. The Away Jersey was also inspired by the legendary history of the 1979 team’s championship, with the same classic white look. Two red ribbon stripes, one thick and one thin, originating from the club’s temperament, are added to the chest of the away court jersey. The breathable strip behind the white V-collar is added with three-color stripes representing the image of the team in South Rio Grande Texas.
