AS Roma Home Jersey 2020/21

The Italian Football Club of AS Roma released the team's new home jersey for 2020 / 21 season. The club, together with Nike, re examines the team's history of the classic jerseys and uses it as the inspiration for the New AS Roma Jersey design.





It has been 40 years since winning the Italian Cup in 1980. Forty years ago, when AS Roma players won the Italian Cup, they wore what fans affectionately called "ghiacciolo". This is a classic work created by Piero Gratton, a famous Italian illustrator. His other famous work is the club badge called lupetto Di Gratton.





In the coming 2020 / 21 season, Roma players will wear a new home shirt inspired by the classic "ghiacciolo". The traditional crimson design is adopted in the new season's home stadium shirt of AS Roma, which represents the image of the club. The classic Giallorosso stripe will appear on the chest of the shirt again from yellow to dark red. The collar, cuffs and stripes on both sides of the shirt are decorated in crimson. The word "Roma" appears in socks and collars, highlighting the deep feelings between the club and the city.





Midfield player Lorenzo Pellegrini said: "it's great to see the new season's Home Jersey in a classic design to show the team's iconic colors. Wearing such a New AS Roma Jersey inspired by a famous shirt in the history of the club is very special for both players and fans.
