Botafogo Away Jersey 2019/20

Botafogo has unveiled their new away shirt for the 2019/20 season. The New Botafogo Jersey draws inspiration from the club's history and pays tribute to Botafogo rowing club, the predecessor of the club, for winning the club's first championship in 1899.


Botafogo's new Away Jersey features a classic black tone with a dark grey horizontal stripe on the front, which looks like the waves left by rowing across the lake. The club's predecessor, Botafogo rowing club badge, is placed on the front of the shirt to lead the fans to review the history of the club. On both sides of the Jersey are white strips, which, in addition to a black pentagram, represent the champion, are also added to the 1899, the year when the club won the championship for the first time.


The black pants and the black socks with grey rings make up the complete image of the club's away shirt this season. Also released with the new Away Jersey is this season's away goal suit, which appears in light grey with the same template and details as the Jersey.
